Yama A. Shansab
Yama Shansab has practiced law for more than a dozen years in Northern Virginia. He has handled complex, high-stakes civil cases at the trial and appellate levels and has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in multi-million dollar cases. As part of his business practice, Yama represents companies and key personnel in contract reviews, drafting, and negotiations. Robin W. Baxter
Robin Baxter is an associate at the firm working in areas of business and employment litigation, local government and land use law, and probate practice, and assisting with the management of large, multiple-source discovery productions in the firm’s more complex civil cases. Robin began practicing law in 1982, when she joined Fairfax County as an Assistant County Attorney, and there served on a team of lawyers litigating landmark environmental cases in the Occoquan Watershed. She later used much of her institutional knowledge in the defense of various localities as part of civil litigation practice for ten years, before joining Ferguson Walton & Shansab.
